Brian Greenlee, MD
Brian Greenlee, MD is the Medical Director of The Ridge Behavioral Health System. Dr. Brian Greenlee joined our medical staff at The Ridge Behavioral Health System in March 2020. Dr. Greenlee is board-certified in psychiatry/neurology psychosomatic medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to joining The Ridge, Dr. Greenlee was Medical Director of My Turning Point in Paris, KY. Dr. Greenlee has also worked as a Private Practitioner in Lexington, KY and Psychiatrist on Acute Psychiatric Unit at Eastern State Hospital/University of Kentucky. Dr. Greenlee received his Doctorate Degree in Medicine from Marshall University, and completed his Psychiatry Residency at University of Kentucky and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at Dartmouth College.
David Shraberg, MD
Dr. David Shraberg received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Following which, he completed residencies in psychiatry and in neurology and completed a fellowship in each at the Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Shraberg is currently a psychiatrist/neurologist in psychiatry and ECT at The Ridge Behavioral Health System. His primary areas of interest are in studying higher cortical functions and psychiatric manifestations of neurological disease, as well as the interface of psychiatry and neurology as applied neuropsychiatry.
Tamela Gilbert, MD
Dr Tamela Gilbert is part of The Ridge Medical Staff on a part-time basis to assist with weekend on-call coverage for youth treatment services. She has been affiliated with The Ridge since 2006. Dr. Gilbert is board-certified in adult, adolescent and child psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Andre Fernandez, MD
Dr. Andre Fernandez has been a member of the medical staff of The Ridge Behavioral Health System since 1996. Dr. Fernandez is board-certified in psychiatry, as well as child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Fernandez received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1987 and completed his Psychiatry Residency at Connecticut Hospital (Yale University Affiliate) in 1994. He completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Texas, where he also held a teaching position in general psychiatry for residents and medical students. Dr. Fernandez has also provided care for patients at Bourbon County Hospital and Samaritan Hospital, as well as maintaining a private practice in Lexington.
Leigh Ann Gebhardt, PMHNP, FNP, MSN, RN, JD, CPHRM
Leigh Ann Gebhardt joined our staff in July 2021 and is board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Leigh Ann is also licensed by the Kentucky Bar Association (KBA) and has a Certification in HealthCare Risk Management (CPHRM). Prior to joining The Ridge, Leigh Ann was employed by Norton Healthcare as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. Leigh Ann has worked in the areas of healthcare risk management, patient safety, quality improvement, and in a variety of managerial and clinical nursing roles in her career. Leigh Ann received her PMHNP degree from Northern Kentucky University, her FNP from Chamberlain University, a master’s degree in Nursing Education from Western’s Governors University and her registered nurse (RN) and law degree (JD) from Capital University in Columbus, OH.
Wendy Blair Harrod, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Wendy Blair Harrod started her career as a registered nurse in 2006 and enjoyed working in multiple different healthcare settings before furthering her education in 2015. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Frontier Nursing University in 2018. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her career as a family nurse practitioner, her practice focus included urgent care and family medicine. Wendy continued her education and earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019, her research focused on Increasing Effective Care of HIV and Hepatitis in Syringe Exchange Program Participants at a Public Health Department. She finished her education with a post-graduate certificate in psychiatric and mental health nursing across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC) in 2020. She has been board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner since January 2021. Dr. Harrod works in The Ridge’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) caring for adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.
Lynn Weddle, APRN
Lynn Weddle, APRN has over 36 years of professional experience. Lynn has worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) for the last 25 years. She worked as co-founder and APRN at Summit Health in Lexington, KY prior to joining The Ridge Adult Outpatient Department in June 2020.
Prior to working at Summit Health, Lynn worked for 10 years at Behavioral Medicine Network in Lexington. Lynn not only has experience working in private practices, but she also has experience in hospital settings, as well as teaching and advising at a community college.
Lynn obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. Lynn also attended the University of Kentucky for her Post-Master’s Degree in Psychiatric Nursing.
Nathan Bartley, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Nathan Bartley has been with The Ridge BHS since 2018. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where he completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Nathan Bartley is board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) by The American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to his tenure at The Ridge BHS he worked with UK Hospital in critical care from 2005-2018. His specialty population includes children and adolescents.
Silas Willoughby, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Silas Willoughby is an Advanced Practice Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner. He is a graduate of Frontier University, Chamberlain University, and Cornell University. He is a retired military officer and 3-time combat veteran. He currently practices as a Medical Provider for the Child & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program at the Ridge Behavioral Health System. His primary area of interest is using evidence-based medicine and coaching to give children and adolescents the proper tools to lead a meaningful and successful life.
David Nicholson, APRN
David joined The Ridge Behavioral Health in 2017 and has worked in many nursing roles, including registered nurse, staff educator, and nursing supervisor. He has over 17 years of nursing experience in both medical and behavioral health fields. Davis has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of Kentucky and a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Benedictine University, as well as a post-graduate certificate in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University. David primarily works as the Psychiatric Nurse Provider for our Youth Inpatient Units, while providing coverage, as needed to our Outpatient Department.
Nina Eisner, Chief Executive Officer
Nina Eisner received a Bachelors of Social Work from the UK and a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois. Nina has over 48 years in Behavioral Health Services in a variety of positions, including over 35 years as Administrator/CEO of not for profit and for profit freestanding psychiatric hospitals. She has been CEO of The Ridge Behavioral Health System since 2002. Nina is also very active in Community and Professional organizations including current leadership appointments such as Commissioned by Governor to represent hospitals on the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) positions such as Chair of the Certificate of Need Committee, Bluegrass District Chair and member of the Board of Trustees. Previously she has also been Chair of the Behavioral Health Forum and Legislative Committee for the KHA.
