Meet the Team at The Ridge

Medical Staff

Brian Greenlee, MD

Brian Greenlee, MD is the Medical Director of The Ridge Behavioral Health System. Dr. Brian Greenlee joined our medical staff at The Ridge Behavioral Health System in March 2020. Dr. Greenlee is board-certified in psychiatry/neurology psychosomatic medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Prior to joining The Ridge, Dr. Greenlee was Medical Director of My Turning Point in Paris, KY. Dr. Greenlee has also worked as a Private Practitioner in Lexington, KY and Psychiatrist on Acute Psychiatric Unit at Eastern State Hospital/University of Kentucky. Dr. Greenlee received his Doctorate Degree in Medicine from Marshall University, and completed his Psychiatry Residency at University of Kentucky and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at Dartmouth College.

Daniella Gavito, MD

Daniella Gavito, MD is the medical director for youth services at The Ridge Behavioral Health System. Dr. Gavito received her medical degree from Texas A&M university. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Afterwards, she did two years additional fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Gavito recognizes the importance of involving family in the treatment of children. She works collaboratively with both the child and their family to provide individualized treatment. Her interest are exploring how adverse childhood experiences impact a person’s mental health, physical health, and relationships. Dr. Gavito has expertise in diagnosing and treating childhood disorders such as ADHD, Anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders and Autism.

David Shraberg, MD

Dr. David Shraberg received his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Following which, he completed residencies in psychiatry and in neurology and completed a fellowship in each at the Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Shraberg is currently a psychiatrist/neurologist in psychiatry and ECT at The Ridge Behavioral Health System. His primary areas of interest are in studying higher cortical functions and psychiatric manifestations of neurological disease, as well as the interface of psychiatry and neurology as applied neuropsychiatry.

Tamela Gilbert, MD

Tamela Gilbert, MD

Dr Tamela Gilbert is part of The Ridge Medical Staff on a part-time basis to assist with weekend on-call coverage for youth treatment services. She has been affiliated with The Ridge since 2006. Dr. Gilbert is board-certified in adult, adolescent and child psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Wendy Blair Harrod, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Dr. Wendy Blair Harrod started her career as a registered nurse in 2006 and enjoyed working in multiple different healthcare settings before furthering her education in 2015. She completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Frontier Nursing University in 2018. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Throughout her career as a family nurse practitioner, her practice focus included urgent care and family medicine. Wendy continued her education and earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2019, her research focused on Increasing Effective Care of HIV and Hepatitis in Syringe Exchange Program Participants at a Public Health Department. She finished her education with a post-graduate certificate in psychiatric and mental health nursing across the lifespan (PMHNP-BC) in 2020. She has been board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner since January 2021. Dr. Harrod works in The Ridge’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) caring for adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and other psychiatric conditions.

Nathan Bartley, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Nathan Bartley has been with The Ridge BHS since 2018. He is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) where he completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Nathan Bartley is board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) by The American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to his tenure at The Ridge BHS he worked with UK Hospital in critical care from 2005-2018. His specialty population includes children and adolescents.

Management Staff

Keith Rankin, Chief Executive Officer

Keith Rankin, CEO, comes to The Ridge with a wealth of knowledge and experience, having worked in inpatient psychiatric hospitals in the state of Kentucky for over 20 years. He started his career at Our Lady Of Peace in Louisville, KY as an MHT in 2002 and has taken on additional leadership positions since that time.

Keith served OLOP for 18 years, leading to the position of Director of Nursing from 2015-2019. In 2019, Keith joined SUN Behavioral as CNO/COO and was instrumental in stabilizing the clinical programs. In 2021, Keith joined The Brook Dupont, a UHS facility in Louisville, KY as Chief Nursing Officer where he was able to quickly make a strong impact on programming, patients and employees.

Keith is highly regarded in the behavioral health community, is dedicated to working with patients with mental illness and has a strong understanding of the healthcare delivery system in the state of Kentucky. He is an approachable, hands-on leader who will ensure the highest quality standards are carried out for our patients at The Ridge.
